Lots of hard work from Loren went into her teeny tiny closet! Good thing she will be teeny tiny :)
...
When we moved in we saved this bedroom for a nursery, knowing it had the smallest closet and that would be okay for a baby. After clearing out the room, we forgot just how awful it looked. A little box with one sad looking pole going across the top. We tore out the pole (and some other random pieces of wood they had in there) and figured out a plan.
My little sketch for Loren :)
While Loren did his thing I decided to be crafty. I saw an idea off of Etsy to create clothes dividers with door hangers. Quick run to hob lob... found some animals, some numbers and some paint and threw them together. I have a thing for neutrals and so after they were put together, I repainted the animals for a little more our style :)
Back to Loren...
Looks pretttttty good! We ditched the top shelf above the highest pole because really, who actually puts things up there that they plan on using without grabbing a step stool? And the bottom pole we ended up moving down a ways for more room on the top.
After painting the shelves white, the walls grey (first mint green) and finding perfect little baskets we could then fill the closet with all her little goodies so far! She is already SO spoiled by our family and friends!
And some goodies because what would a little baby blog be without cute little baby things :)
