Demo Day. Bricks?

It has been a crazy busy two months with so many projects going on that I'm going to have a hard time catching up on my "blogging." --- This " " makes me think of the Friends episode where Joey doesn't know what quotation marks mean and he tells Ross "I'm sorry."

I suppose I should start in order from day 1. We were beyond antsy to start demo in our home so the second we got our keys (literally maybe 24 hours later) we did just that. First things first we were just dyyyyyying to see what was behind the awful paneling in the living room. Big time crossing our fingers for more brick. And that is just what we got :)

("I just want brick!" Rehab Addict? That's my most favorite).

After uncovering all that gorgeous brick, the fireplace got put on the back burner for more important things :/ Tonight, two months later, she finally got her fresh coat of white paint she so desperately needed! Waiting verrrrrry patiently for my pop's mantel (what could be better than having your dad make your mantel in your first home?) but for now a sneak peek.... 

What I learned: who knows what you'll uncover in an old home, renting a dumpster is a must and you can never have too much white paint.
