I can't take any credit for this one, this was alllllllll Loren's little project! (I wish I could use emoticons because I would put the clapping hands right here, he did such a good job!)
The bathroom had closed cabinets with pegboards on the inside. Kiiiiiiinda resembled something you would see in a garage and it just wasn't working for us...
SO! Demo time. Loren took off the doors, scraped up the tile (always makes me laugh because it was such an odd place to put some), took out the peg boards and headed to get supplies!
He cut and installed new boards, used paintable caulk (told you! Our new best friend) and added a few shelves. He tried out a little basket to see how they would look :)
I swooped in with my can of white paint (maybe the 6th one?) and went to town!
He planned it so that we could each have a shelf with a basket of our own goodies, a shelf for towels and things, a place for toilet paper and magazines (aka towels once I found out) and a hamper for washcloths!
FINISHED PROJECT?
Mason jars: I mixed up some bath salts (epsom salt + oils) for the first jar, grabbed some milk bath and filled the second and for the third? Trader Joes coconut oil!
Loren says he has no words of wisdom for this project "it was easy." Either way, I'm in love. And work in the bathroom is coming to an end and THAT is bittersweet.
AHH good job Lor! :)
