Easiest project yet!

I really wanted hooks behind the front door, somewhere to throw the things you shed as you step into the house when you don't want to walk the whole 4 steps to the coat closet. Seeing that we were now pros at board and batten we decided this was going to happen again! Annnnnnd possibly again later on :)

(My painting buddy Heather and I knocked this room out right when we got the keys. For the next few weeks everyone that stopped by said "oh you chose baby blue?" The color looked awesome when the sun was down and there wasn't much light on it. But during the day, as much as I didn't want to believe it, my grey was blue. It had to go. I got up before Loren one morning and flew through it before he could tell me not to. The new color? I loved it so much it ended up being our color for the staircase, hallway and bathroom!)

First up! Paint the trim white. People think we're crazy for even touching the original woodwork but.... we wanted white :) We did however leave the gorgeous beam!

Leftover wood from the dining room and $4 hooks from Target? Done and done.

:) Told you it was easy!
